Seller AcademyUpdated 13 July 2026

Clear delivery and pickup settings help buyers understand how they will receive their order. Add an accurate dispatch address, choose realistic delivery options and keep your collection arrangements safe.

Add your pickup or dispatch address

  • Use the address where you normally keep, pack or dispatch products.
  • Use a business, shop or suitable collection address where possible.
  • Make sure the country, town, postcode and contact number are accurate.
  • Set your main dispatch location as the primary address.
  • Update the address promptly if your fulfilment location changes.

Choose how orders will be fulfilled

  • Select delivery when you or a courier can take orders to buyers.
  • Select pickup when buyers can safely collect from an approved location.
  • Use supplier dispatch only when the supplier can reliably fulfil the order.
  • Do not enable delivery areas you cannot consistently serve.

Set clear delivery information

  • State the areas or regions you cover.
  • Add realistic delivery charges.
  • Explain whether delivery is paid before dispatch or on arrival.
  • Give buyers a realistic delivery timeframe.
  • Allow extra time for weekends, public holidays and sourced products.

Prepare safe pickup arrangements

  • Confirm the product is available before arranging collection.
  • Agree the pickup location and time with the buyer.
  • Use a staffed business or public collection point where possible.
  • Allow the buyer to inspect the product where appropriate.
  • Record the collection through the Upfrica order process.

Keep buyers informed

  • Confirm when an order is ready for dispatch or pickup.
  • Share tracking or rider information where available.
  • Tell the buyer quickly when a delay occurs.
  • Do not mark an order delivered before the handover is complete.

Quick checklist

  • Primary dispatch address added
  • Correct phone number added
  • Delivery areas selected
  • Delivery charges confirmed
  • Estimated delivery time added
  • Pickup arrangements reviewed
  • Return routing confirmed
Important

Do not publish a private home address as a public pickup point unless you understand and accept the safety implications. Use a business or staffed collection location where possible.
