Upfrica Buyer Protection explained

Understand when an Upfrica purchase may be protected and how to ask for help.

Upfrica Help CentreUpdated Jul 22, 2026

Upfrica Buyer Protection provides a structured way to report eligible problems with orders paid for through Upfrica. Eligibility and available actions are calculated from the order, payment, delivery status, timing and evidence.

Issues that may be covered

  • An eligible item was not received.
  • The item arrived damaged, wrong, fake or materially different from the listing.
  • The seller cancelled after an eligible platform payment.
  • Food or another regulated item arrived expired, unsafe or materially incorrect.

How protection works

  • Start from the order so Upfrica can attach the correct payment and item.
  • Choose the issue that best describes what happened.
  • Provide the evidence requested for that issue.
  • Follow messages and deadlines in the Resolution Centre.

Before you continue

  • The order appears in My Orders.
  • Payment was made through Upfrica.
  • The issue is reported within the available window.
Important

Purchases arranged or paid for outside Upfrica may not qualify for Buyer Protection, refund help or dispute support.
