Change, cancel or reopen a sourcing request

Available actions depend on the request state and whether an offer or funded order already exists.

Before accepting an offer

• Edit an eligible draft or open request when the requirements change.
• Cancel an eligible request if you no longer need the item.
• Reopen an eligible cancelled, closed or expired request when the system offers that action.

After accepting an offer

• Do not edit the original requirements to replace the locked order specification.
• Use the order help or resolution process for cancellation, refund or delivery problems.
• Create a new request for a materially different item.
