Resolution case statuses explained
Understand open, awaiting response, under review, resolved and closed states.

The status tells you who needs to act and whether the case can still receive normal updates.
Common statuses
- Open: the case has been created and initial action is pending.
- Awaiting seller: the seller must respond or provide evidence.
- Awaiting buyer: the buyer must reply, return an item or provide evidence.
- Under review: available information is being assessed.
- Resolved: an outcome has been recorded and may still be completing.
- Closed: normal case handling has ended and the audit record is retained.
