When you can request a return

Understand when an item may need to be returned before a refund or replacement.

Upfrica Help CentreUpdated Jul 22, 2026

A return is normally considered after delivery when the physical item must come back for inspection, refund or replacement.

Return eligibility may depend on

  • The product category, condition and time since delivery.
  • Whether the item is faulty, damaged, wrong or not as described.
  • Country rules, seller policy and the method used to fulfil the order.
  • Restrictions for perishable, personalised, hygiene-sensitive or used items.

If a return is approved

  • Follow the return method and address shown in the case.
  • Keep proof of collection, drop-off or courier dispatch.
  • Return the agreed item and included parts in the required condition.
Important

Do not send an item to an unconfirmed address. Wait for approved return instructions in the Resolution Centre.
