Manage a delivery order as a seller
Confirm, prepare, dispatch and document delivery orders using the method recorded at checkout.
The order page is the source of truth for the buyer, paid amount, delivery choice and destination. Fulfil only a confirmed order and do not replace the recorded method with a private arrangement.
Prepare the order
- Confirm stock, variant, condition and quantity.
- Use suitable packaging and include the agreed parts or accessories.
- Follow the preparation estimate shown to the buyer.
- Contact the buyer through Upfrica if a material delay or problem occurs.
Dispatch correctly
- Use the seller, courier or Upfrica-supported method recorded for the order.
- Do not add an undisclosed delivery fee after checkout.
- Record dispatch only after the parcel is handed to the delivery provider.
- Add valid tracking or delivery evidence where the workflow requests it.
Complete and protect the order
- Keep courier, dispatch and delivery evidence linked to the order.
- Respond promptly if the buyer reports a delivery problem.
- Use the Resolution Centre for formal cancellation, refund, return or dispute actions.
- Seller payout timing depends on payment, fulfilment and any active protection or resolution checks.
Never mark an item dispatched or delivered before the real event. False updates can affect the buyer, payout and seller standing.
